Dr Who Series 5 Season 1+2

So here's what i chose to do for this third project. I really enjoy dr who, yeah i'm a whovian. So far i have two ida as far as packaging goes. this first one envolves building a Tardis which is a rectangular structure. The second involves using what is called Gallifreyan, the language of the Dr.

Dr Who is a british T.V. series. It has ran from 1969 to 1989. The show was relaunched in 2005 with a fresh actor. The show again was relaunched in April 2010.

The reason for so many relaunches, is because of the dr, a time traveler, can never really die. Rather, when he dies he "regenerated" into a new body while maintaing the same memories. The current Dr is played by Matt Smith.

Redesign of Bamboo Salt Soap

This is a bar of bamboo salt soap. It is a Korean product that was purchased at Galleria. It apparently has a Chinese name across the front written phonetically in Korean.

It comes in a bag within a small box. It is sold individually. All the information is on the back of the box. Unfortunately, that is all I was able to gather on this product.

I think that the packaging for this product is very conventional. Not only does it present the product in a way that is appealing to the target market, it is resealable and reusable. I liked it mostly for that reason. I could see someone snacking on this in their cars as well since it would definitely fits in a cup holder.

I liked the way this package sits on the shelf. Sure it's a simple box with a cut out, however I find it aesthetically pleasing and showcases the actual product.

This packaging is, in my opinion, the ultimate convenience! When i first saw this product i thought it was some sort of tupperware but, if you take a look at the insert, there is actually some food in there. The actual design of the container isn't bad either. It's something I would try to salvage and reuse.

Here is a slightly more unique take on the tide bottle. It's a less bulky container and the handle is much bigger which makes it eiser to hold. The design of this makes everything look much more sleek and modern too.

I believe these are dressing for salads or really fancy flavoring. In any case, i found that the bottle, the caps and the design work pretty well together. I'm actually not too crazy about the photos. 

5 bad examples.

This particular item is catnip kit. All the supplies come inside a plastic pot which is later used. However, instead of it having a sealed lid, it is wrapped in netting which creates readability issues.

These Whitmor dryer balls come packaged in a plastic bag that is stabled shut. The shape of the actual product is interesting, however, the plastic bag and staples cheapens the look.

This product comes in a bottle that is then wrapped in paper. The design on the paper itself looks good in my opinion. However, the paper wrapping isn't conventional and the tops get wrinkled and become unattractive.

The packaging of this sponge doesn't work. I feel that the design elements are a bit much for such a simple product. It's as if the product gets drowned out in the loudness of the design on this sealed product.

I don't completely think the packaging of this product is all bad. I actually like the shape of the bottle. However, i think it is better suited for motor oil. I actually thought that is what it was, not seasoning salt.
